Our wines

The Arda valley is the ideal place for cultivating grapevines and producing wine.
The wines produced in the area and their features are mentioned in various parts of Trajan’s Tabula Alimentaria, the largest inscribed bronze tablet of antiquity, which of explains how the vines were cultivated and describes the “divine” nectar that was obtained from those of Veleia.
Our Winery offers many of the main D.O.C. wines of the Colli Piacentini wine region.
Gutturnio, Gutturnio Superiore, Bonarda, Barbera, Malvasia, Monterosso Val d'Arda and Ortrugo, as well as a number of other full-bodied and well-structured wines, such as Marsanne, a noteworthy white wine bearing the IGT marking.
Good wine is the result of dedicated work in the fields, careful grape selection, skilful winemaking, patient ageing in the cellar and traditional techniques.
